    My Background:

Before this I spent over 25 years as a manager in private companies and in the public sector. I have completed a four year training course to be a psychoanalytic psychotherapist at The Guild of Psychotherapists in London and am a Member of The Site for Contemporary Psychoanalysis (aligned to UK Council for Psychotherapy). Why come to counselling?
Maybe your life feels like it's all too much for you at the moment and you could benefit from a place to take some time-out. Could you use a regular quiet time each week....?

    Consulting Room

... to explore your thoughts & anxieties
... to talk about low feelings or depression
... to manage your stress levels
    ... to discuss your relationships
... to share feelings of grief or bereavement
... or just to reflect on possible changes to your life

    Therapeutic Approach:
I work with my clients in the way that best suits them, most research shows that whatever the theoretical approach that is chosen by the client - it is the relationship with the counsellor or psychotherapist that matters. My general theoretical approach is based on the principles of Psychodynamic Counselling where I can help you think through how your current difficulties or stress might be based on things that have happened in the past. For more details see my page on Talking Therapy.
